Directrice du London Surf / Film Festival
Demi Taylor est autrice, productrice, et directrice du London Surf / Film Festival. Cofondatrice de l’agence créative Approaching Lines, Demi est l’autrice de films documentaires ainsi que d’ouvrages à succès consacrés au surf, à l’aventure et au voyage. Elle conçoit et produit des événements, des films et des performances, et collabore avec des marques, des musiciens et des cinéastes pour les aider à trouver leur accroche, leur angle et leur récit. Elle vit dans un cottage en Cornouailles, face à la mer, et nourrit une affection particulière pour les planches de surf jaunes.
Le BSFF a tissé des liens étroits avec le LS/FF, en raison des liens culturels historiques qui unissent la Cornouailles anglaise et la Bretagne, également par la reconnaissance d’une même philosophie, d’un même regard porté sur l’Océan.
Le court métrage gagnant du LS/FF est projeté chaque année au BSFF, et le LS/FF accueille le court métrage lauréat du BSFF, prix Brittany Ferries.

Director of the London Surf / Film Festival
Demi Taylor is a writer, producer and the Director of the London Surf / Film Festival. As co-founder of Approaching Lines creative agency, she has spent the last two decades bringing to life the stories that matter in print, on-screen and in-person. She’s written ground-breaking documentaries about youth culture and best-selling books exploring surfing, adventure and travel. She produces events, films and happenings and works with brands, musicians and filmmakers helping them find the hook, the line, the story. She lives in a cottage in Cornwall overlooking the sea and has a thing for yellow surfboards and underinflated mats.
The festival has built strong ties with LS/FF, due to the historic cultural connections between Kernow and Brittany, as well as a shared ethos rooted in a love of cinema.
The winning LS/FF short film is screened each year at BSFF, and LS/FF hosts the winning BSFF short film, the Brittany Ferries Award.
