Synopsis :

Les Berbères se nomment Imazighen, pluriel d’Amazigh qui signifie Homme libre dans leur langue, le tamazight. La réalisatrice turque Serra Soyupak, diplômée à l’University of Arts de Londres, fascinée par les entrelacements entre la tradition et l’héritage, par le sport, la mode et la culture, construit un récit original en dessinant le portrait d’une jeune femme Amazigh en quête d’émancipation et de liberté, déterminée à briser les attentes de la société et à embrasser sa passion pour le surf. The film follows an inspiring Amazigh woman who is determined to break societal expectations and embrace her passion for surfing. Narrated in her native language, Tamazight, the film takes viewers on a personal journey as she tells her story in various locations. This journey captures the intersection of culture, traditions, and individuality and shows the empowering transformation of a young woman who breaks free and explores surfing.
